I like the sites with the projects as I would like something that 1)
Facilitates deploying the site as an artifact and 2) Having the
documentation with the project you're documenting. Moving it all to
one place doesn't make any sense to me.

Agree.

So, I propose to consolidate doxia project, ie move /maven/doxia/site
to /maven/doxia/trunk/doxia-site

WDYT to standardize archiva and jxr project like other sub projects? I
mean creating archiva-site and jxr-site?

-0, the site is a living thing that lives outside of the project itself. If the project has _documentation_ that is released with the project and deployed in addition to the site you can add doxia-site and make that contain the documentation for a particular version.

-0 too, I agree. The X-site projects should contain stuff that's not tied
to the version of the project (which will usually be very small).

Also, why have a top level project X-site at all? Having src/site
in the top level project works fine. It will also help with the layout
of the site because the modules are at the right place.
