Application Server JBoss AS 4.0.4

OS Windows XP

Java 1.5.0_07

I've been stuck for the past 2 days trying to get a connection to my
DataSource in JBoss while running integration tests. I'm getting a
Socket Write Error and all of my tests are failing. I assumed the
problem involved how I was trying to access the DataSource. However, I
found today that everything works perfectly when running these same
tests from my IDE (IntelliJ IDEA).

I've got a lot of work ahead of me trying to figure out the difference
between the Maven2 and IDEA environments/JVMs. So, in hopes of saving
some time, is there any reason that running my test code from Maven2
would have problems communicating with the JBoss AS via an RMI port?

Also, any ideas on what differences to check for between my Maven2 and
IDEA environments would be helpful. Currently I'm working on looking at
the classpaths and the system properties. I've already ensured the JRE
versions are the same.

Thanks!
