Hi all,

I checked out the latest sources of maven-archetype as I was very
intrigued by this mojo. Subsequently i've written an implementation of
org.apache.maven.archetype.ArchetypeCreator that deals with resources,
webapps and sites.
It will also handle multi-module projects in the sense that it runs
through all reactor projects and creates an archetype jar for each.

Ideally however, I would like it to deal with multi-module projects
better, but this then raises the issue of the archetype:create mojo
understanding a multi-module build. I had a look at
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/ARCHETYPE-23 which proposes a format for
a multi-module archetype model.

I was wondering if the model for the multi-module archetype has been
determined/agreed and if it is being worked on. It seems to me that this
lack of support is hindering genuinely useful archetype generation as
the hierachical nature of maven is one of its biggest assets.

TIA

Adam
