I did the same just now for resolver: both 1.x and 2.x wanted to stage a site to resolver-archives/resolver-LATEST that makes simultaneous releases of both 1.x and 2.x. My solution was to make 1.x use resolver-archives/resolver-LATEST-1.x while master kept the resolver-archives/resolver-LATEST
