Hi Mahout, The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Mahout is delighted to announce that Jie-Kai has joined the PMC!
Jie-Kai is based in Taipei, Taiwan with a background in CS. He has made steady, quality contributions to QDP, while also actively mentoring newcomers and helping them land their first contributions. He proposed that we participate in SITCON, a major student tech conference in Taiwan, and has volunteered to serve as a Google Summer of Code mentor, showing real initiative in growing our community beyond code.
