It looks like it will do that - there is an xmllayout that I haven't
paid too much attention to in the past.

Part of this is that I really need to update some of the documentation
for log4cxx to show the possible options for how to do things.  The
chainsaw documentation could also be updated as well, but I haven't
used it enough to know where to start.
