There have been several pull requests submitted since the last release. I am just going through and verifying them or doing whatever is needed.
In the course of trying to verify the PR for LOG4J2-1360 I have found that there are a bunch of problems with the javadoc on master that are preventing a site build so I am fixing those. I also have work in progress to try to add the module-info.class files to master. I still plan to review the new JSON Layout Volkan has worked on so it can be committed. I had hoped to do it today. If you are looking for something to do that would be of great help. It is a pretty large commit.
