This is a voting thread for Libcloud v3.9.1
(https://github.com/apache/libcloud/tree/v3.9.1-tentative).
Since the last release, various improvements and changes have been made
across different areas of the project.
Release highlights:
- Python version updates:
- Added support for Python 3.14.
- Compute driver updates:
- OpenStack: Added initial Blazar support and add hypervisor_hostname
attribute to OpenStack node.
- Azure ARM: Update US GovCloud AD endpoin and Add signed upload to
azure and s3.
- VSphere: Add verify_ssl option.
- GCP: Use the fully-qualified name for the IMDS endpoint.
- RcodeZero: Fix issue when adding a record where a record with a
different type already exists
- DNS driver updates:
- Cloudflare: Removal of zone_name from Cloudflare record response
following API deprecation
- Testing & Development:
- Upgraded `pytest` to v8.1, fixing race conditions and cross-test
pollution.
- Added workarounds for compatibility with `pytest >= 8.2`.
- Adopt uv tool for dependency management.
