Rajat Khandelwal commented on LENS-583:
---------------------------------------
-1 for the current video.
How will we ensure that the video is kept updated with all the cli features? I
assume we don't want to do that too often, so let's make an extensive video.
The video shouldn't just contain commands, comments are as essential as
anything else. In lens-cli, semicolon can start a comment. In bash, hash starts
a coment.
After LENS-531, there are commands like `cube show fields` and `dimension show
fields`. I think Before directly running a query, we should run those commands
so that the user knows which fields are queryable. After that, run the query.
And let the user see the query being typed, not copy pasted. This is seriously
distracting. And again, comments help.
The creation of sample metastore should also be captured. Though I cannot think
of a good way right now, but it would be nice if we can find an elegant way to
show the possibility of passing custom conf to cli as well.
A very small intro to cubes, dimensions, dimtables and facts would be good.
Just enough to let the user know that these are the entities lens deals with
and are exposed on cli.
Before the end, Give the user the link

The whole point of video is to provide a hands on experience. It has to be more
helpful than the `help` command, otherwise it defies the purpose.
