Hi all, I have used Dools I think since 2004 …. There usually in banks for building rating applications. I always liked how easy it was to port rule-based transformations into the java world … especially If the „analysts“ produced Excel prototypes 😉
Now … I was super happy when I heard about KIE coming to the ASF, as I think in industrial automation IIoT there is a huge opportunity for this type of data processing. So … also being the one running the IIoT talk at C>C Glasgow …. I’d love to ask if you guys could imagine submitting an IIoT themed talk in that direction? Also, happy to co-author/present if needed. Not sure if in general a Drools Apache Streampipes plugin would make sense, or Apache Camel or Apache NiFi … I’d really love to be able to run Dools workloads in these tools. Chris
