Thank you, Jinwoo, for this kind message. And thank you to everyone for not only the warm welcome but also this opportunity to serve as a Geode committer. It is an honor for me.

I'm an open source program manager at SAS Institute Inc., where I help the organization with all aspects of its open source strategy—from compliance to contribution to community architecture. Since last year, I've been working with the merry band of Geode developers at SAS (several of whom are now Geode committers and PMC members) who have begun ushering Geode into its sparkling new era. I'm not a software developer (I'm a writer, editor, and academic by training), but I have been passionate about open source software for decades and am delighted to have this opportunity to participate more formally in an open source software project.

I'm looking forward to collaborating with you all.

Sincerely,
Bryan
