You make it sound like Geode is going to stop. That's definitely not true. What affects Geode's future are the requests the community makes for new features. Check out our Jira to know what's in our future.
Since this is an open source Apache community, all the planning occurs here in the open. I'm trusting you are new to our community? Updates get triggered as needed whenever there is an important bug to fix and/or foundational changes that need to be brought to production, even if they don't create new features right away.
