Eric Shu commented on GEODE-2773:
---------------------------------

Because of the async invocation, the following
assertEquals(regionVersionForThisOp, region_version) call could be executed
after doOnePut(R, 6, "key1"); This will cause the assertion to fail as the
current region version is 6 now instead of expected 5.

As the waitForToVerifyRVV() call correctly verifies the region version, there
is no need for the assertEquals(regionVersionForThisOp, region_version) if it
was invoked asynchronously.

{noformat}
    AsyncInvocation async2 = doOneDestroyAsync(R, 5, "key5");
    waitForToVerifyRVV(R, memberR, 5, null, 0); // P's rvv=r5, gc=0

    doOnePut(R, 6, "key1"); // r6 will pass
    waitForToVerifyRVV(R, memberR, 6, null, 0); // P's rvv=r6, gc=0
