We ran the 6th Community Health Initiative (CHI) on the 9th of

* 47 non draft PRs came in since before the holidays, of these
* there were a few around migrating table planner Scala implementations
to Java
* there were also a couple of PRs that were looking to enhance the
Scala rules. I have responded to those indicating that we are looking to add a
Java. Let me know if this is not the correct approach

was at the meeting and has been driving Flink / CI bot to mark PRs as Stale. He
has had 3 binding votes and 5 non-binding votes - so he has raised a Jira and
is proceeding to code.

https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/2587<https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/25867>
around reverting Pekko versions. It looks like we are trying to make it work
with the higher version so the cves are addressed.
* Noticed https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/25896 that is a Kyro
upgrade, so we do not ship an abandoned project. Unfortunately, this means that
v1 to v2 state migration is broken for Kyro. I have raised this on the dev
list, as v2 is allowed breaking changes, but we still would like ways to
migrate from v1 - so this PR does not become an blocking factor for v1 →2
migration inhibitor.
