Hello everyone, My name is Dishita Suyal, and I am currently a student at Banasthali University, Jaipur.
I am interested in contributing to Apache Fineract as part of GSoC 2026. Over the past few weeks, I have been exploring the codebase and working on issues such as FINERACT-1341 related to query optimization and parameter binding. I have also reviewed PR #5655 and shared suggestions regarding documentation of the client charge lifecycle. I have also submitted a GSoC 2026 proposal focused on improving loan query handling and filtering in Apache Fineract. My primary areas of interest include backend development, APIs, and database optimization using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. I would love to continue contributing and would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how I can improve and contribute more effectively.
