Dear Apache Doris Foundation,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention
an issue we encountered while attempting to deploy an Apache Doris cluster.

Me and my teammate successfully managed to start the frontend services,
including the master, follower, and observer nodes. However, we encountered
difficulties with the backend nodes.

We diligently configured the ports and priority networks as per the
guidelines provided in the official documentation. Additionally, we
followed the prescribed steps to add the backend nodes to the frontend
cluster using MySQL commands.

Despite our efforts and adherence to the documentation, we encountered
challenges in starting the backend services. After reviewing the logs, we
found that the backend nodes consistently failed to start up due to a
java.net.ConnectException: Connexion refusée (Connection refused) error.

We meticulously followed the official documentation, ensuring that all
configurations were accurately set. Furthermore, in an attempt to resolve
the issue, we disabled the firewall to ensure that it wasn't causing any
connection issues.

Given the critical nature of backend node functionality within the Apache
Doris cluster, we are reaching out to seek your assistance in diagnosing
and resolving this issue. Any guidance, insights, or recommendations you
could provide to help us overcome this obstacle would be immensely
appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We eagerly await your response
and assistance in resolving this issue.

Sincerely,
Taher Chaltout, Data engineering student at Faculty of Sciences of
Sfax,Tunisia.
