I would strongly encourage all D&I members and interested parties to attend Ruth's talk at ApacheCon on Monday (https://www.apachecon.com/acna19/s/#/scheduledEvent/1200). Ruth is a dear friend and her talks on D&I and empathy always strike at the heart of what makes any and all D&I efforts successful.
It would also be good if the D&I team did more to promote her talk as well.
