I'm afraid I don't know what option 1 or option 2 are. If you asked me to add a line item for Outreachy for ~2 interns, I'd vote yes. If you asked for closer to 10, I'd say no, I simply don't think we have enough mentors to support that many interns. To me, it's not the money, it's the ability to support the interns because I see how much work it takes for GSOC..
