We have fixed quite a few bugs and added some significant enhancements
since DbUtils 1.5 was released in 2012, so I would like to release DbUtils
1.6 based on RC2.

Note on RC1: From the archives it looks like the RM for RC1 only gave it
one try and then stopped working on the release.

Note on the side build: as for other components, the side can not be
build with Java 8.

Note on the checkstyle report: Checkstyle reports a lot of violation, but
they are all about the JavaDoc and will be fixed when we make the site
build with Java 8.

DbUtils 1.6 RC2 is available for review here:
    https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/dbutils/ (svn rev. 5880)

  Maven artifacts are here:
    https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachecommons-1041

Details of changes since 1.1 are in the release notes:
    https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/commons/dbutils/RELEASE-NOTES.txt
    http://people.apache.org/~britter/dbutils-1.6-RC2/changes-report.html

  The tag is here:

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/dbutils/tags/DBUTILS_1_6_RC2/
(svn rev. 1611146)
N.B. the SVN revision is required because SVN tags are not immutable.

(note some *relative* links are broken and the 1.6 directories are
not yet created - these will be OK once the site is deployed)

  [ ] +1 Release these artifacts
  [ ] +0 OK, but...
[ ] -0 OK, but really should fix...
  [ ] -1 I oppose this release because...

  Thanks!
