I think there may be a problem with the pom.xml, as it refers to the RC6 tag:

<connection>scm:svn:http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/jexl/tags/COMMONS_JEXL_2_0-RC6</connection>

<developerConnection>scm:svn:https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/jexl/tags/COMMONS_JEXL_2_0-RC6</developerConnection>

<url>http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/commons/proper/jexl/tags/COMMONS_JEXL_2_0-RC6</url>

Once the release is approved, ideally the tag should be renamed to
remove the -RC6 suffix.
This will invalidate the URLs. Even if the RC6 tag is kept, it does
not look right to publish the release with the RC6 URL.

I don't think it's necessary to redo the release - just fix the pom
and its hashes/sig before deployment.
