In your thread I already wrote that this bug is really strange and that the directory generator *should* work. The dependency on aggregation makes it even stranger. I can imagine that there is something wrong with caching and multi-level aggregation in general, but not only with adding a file to a directory and directory generator's validity. Rufio, do you use the directory generator in combination with cocoon:/ or simply straightforward? Jorg, are you sure that your testcase is still related to directory generator, i.e. isn't it a general caching problem? This means modifying a file on higher aggregation levels wouldn't invalidate the check too. Joerg
