I strongly recommend including madlib, I find it very useful and convenient.

So, I would +1 for sure. Hi all, Thanks for the thoughtful discussion and the feedback so far. While I understand that Dianjing’s conversations didn’t surface current demand for Apache MADlib, I’d like to share a complementary perspective. Shine and Tushar have both indicated that they have customers actively using MADlib today. That signals that there’s still practical value in the project, even if the broader community has quieted. Given this, I’d like to propose that we bring Apache MADlib under the Apache Cloudberry (Incubating) umbrella as a trial integration. This would give us 9–12 months to assess its relevance, community interest, and technical fit within Cloudberry’s scope. If, at the end of that period, we find limited engagement or adoption, we can responsibly sunset the integration or initiate movement toward the Attic. I’m happy to take the lead on discussing this with the board, and I’m also willing to initiate a PPMC vote if that’s the appropriate next step. Let me know how you’d like to proceed. Thanks again for the open dialogue.
