Hi Cloudberry Community Members,

To enhance collaboration within our global community, I would like to
propose a small adjustment to our pull request (PR) (especially for the
main branch) review process that accommodates contributors from different
time zones.

Specifically, I would like to suggest extending the review period for pull
requests to the main branch by at least three days. This extension would
allow developers and users in various time zones sufficient time to review
and provide feedback. For urgent PRs (like CICD-related, and security), we
can still merge them promptly once the required number of approvals is
obtained. However, for non-urgent bug fixes (like new features),
maintaining this three-day window would encourage broader participation and
ensure diverse input.

This change aims to balance efficiency with inclusivity, fostering a more
collaborative and participatory environment for everyone. I would love to
hear your thoughts on this suggestion and discuss how we can implement it
effectively.

Looking forward to your feedback!

Best,
Dianjin Wang
