Hi everyone, I wanted to give an update on the progress of CASSANDRA-21139 (adding a new guardrail to warn/prevent the use of mis-prepared statements).
I have finished the implementation and testing. Brad Schoening has reviewed and +1'd the approach, and I’ve been working closely with Stefan MIklosovic to finalize the patch. The PR is ready for final review: https://github.com/apache/cassandra/pull/4596 We are aiming to merge this by the end of next week. If any other committers has bandwidth to take a final look, I would appreciate a second pair of eyes on this before we proceed. Thanks to Brad and Štefan for the architectural guidance on this.
