Thank you very much for volunteering. I have opened a JIRA to create a *mentors *alias on the CASSANDRA project ( INFRA-22555 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-22555>) and another ticket to create a *cassandra_mentors* user group in slack ( INFRA-22556 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-22556>). Those would trigger all the people from the list but I figured that it is simpler for a newcomer to use those than to decide who to contact from the list. If it doesn't work or if one of you has some concerns we can find some other solutions.
