like to ensure that we’re including any essential bug fixes, feature
enhancements, or performance improvements that are ready to go. The release
process will start in the next few days, so if you have any pull requests that
you’d like to see included, please let us know.

Hi Amoro developers,
I'd like to start a discussion about preparing the 0.8.1 release of Apache
Amoro (incubating).
Since the 0.8.0 release in May, the project has seen a number of updates,
including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance improvements. To
make these available to users in a timely manner, I propose we begin planning
for a 0.8.1 release.
I'd like to volunteer for the role of release manager for this release. Of
course, the assistance of a PMC member would be appreciated for any necessary
permissions.
I've created a tracking issue for 0.8.1 to collect all related tasks and
discussions [1]. If there are any open pull requests you'd like to see
included, or ongoing work you think should be part of this release, please
comment here.
