When trying to load a page that has an expired self signed certificate with FF
31.0 I get Error code: sec_error_ca_cert_invalid. This does not display the
"untrusted certificate" page anymore which it did prior to mozillapkix.

When setting security.use_mozillapkix_verification = false the page does load
with the warning page

relevant error lines:
10.129.32.125 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not
trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for www.example.com
The certificate expired on 12/4/2012 6:27 PM.
The current time is 8/6/2014 8:12 PM. (
Error code: sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate)

I would expect even on an expired cert to still see the warning page and not
just a blank error page, if any more information regarding the cert or debug
output is required please let me know

When regenerating the self signed cert the original issue also does not ocur
anymore and the "The certificate is not trusted" page is displayed
