Hello,

I want to protect my digital identity online. I want to digitally sign
all my emails. I've look really quickly and it seems that most major
provider have S/Mime certs for around $20/year.
I want to choose a good provider. So for instance I want to be able to
report that the cert was compromised (cause I lost my machine ...) and
have them react quickly in revoking the cert. I also want the cert to be
recognized by all the major email programs out there.

As my intend is to only sign emails and not encrypt (I don't see any use
case for me encrypting emails). What else should I look into while
shopping for the cert provider ( ie are the bit size important for my
use case ?), How can I measure their reponsivness for revocation ?

If you guys have answers to the above and recomandations on a provider
I'm taking any hints and will take time to compare once I know how I can
do it.
