I want to suggest integrating two performance enhancements from the trunk to the 3.12 branch - for NSS users to see NSS performance improvement in the nearest release 3.12.10. There are two trivial performance enhancements in the trunk - NSS bugs #559508 and #559510, both are targeted at improvement of NSS scalability on modern multi-core systems. For example, when we used Java with NSS with #559508 and #559510 patches applied we saw up to 3.5x performance increase on one of crypto SPECjvm2008 benchmarks. The enhancements are scheduled to appear in NSS 3.13 release, but according to roadmap NSS 3.13 release data seems to be undefined. Just a thought - why not let users see these improvements now without waiting for 3.13 release.
