Please remove legalese like the above from any messages to this list.
This list goes to public servers where it can be read by anyone in the
world.  When you send a message to this list, you are authorizing
everyone on the world to read it.  Consequently, those silly dire and
legally unenforceable warnings to unauthorized readers have no place in
messages to this list.  This is explained on the sign-up page for this
list, which everyone presumably reads and agrees with before subscribing:

If the moderation software that Mozilla uses was capable of it, I would
filter messages to this list to catch legalese like that, and "bounce"
those messages back to their senders, but alas it does not.  So, until
it does, I can only ask you all to please comply.
