Hi, all,
I am writing this to you to propose a new and separate project to port
Mozilla NSS/JSS to smart phone platform, currently target at Andorid and
iPhone.

The "new" means that I am not aware of such project exists.
The "separate" means that it's separated from the fennec project which
is to port FireFox web browser to smart phone platform.

First thing first, does Mozilla have such plan to port NSS/JSS to smart
phone
platform ?
The goal here is that take the source code archive, like
nss-3.12.6-with-nspr-4.8.4.tar.gz
and jss-4.3.1.tar.bz2, type "make android" or "make iphone", you can build
libraries
for android or iphone.

Secondly, has anyone outside of Mozilla already started such project ?

Third, please voice your opinions regarding this matter.

I've intentionally attach other related email discussions below to give more
background.
Thanks and regards.
mli
