Whenever it will be, it will become an entire mess. That's because
updated servers need updates clients and break older ones, whereas old
servers will not allow new clients.
Basically if not the whole Internet moves to the new protocol in one
day, there is going to be nightmare. It's starting already with updated
clients or updated servers, we'll have always a group which isn't served.
