Bob, Thanks for responding. (I sent this several days ago, but wasn't actually subscribed to the list... duh)
I got the sample code from this doc: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/fips/secpolicy.pdf It's the only example I could find of running NSS in FIPS mode. Now, I realize this doc is stated as being a draft here (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Section_C:_Cryptographic_Security_Policy), but since it's essentially the same content contained in the security policy here (http://csrc.nist.gov/groups/STM/cmvp/documents/140-1/140val-all.htm) for 3.12.4, I assumed it was still valid. I've since worked things out, and have the sample working in both C and C++. Thanks for the feedback. -rb -----Original Message----- From: Robert Relyea [mailto:rrel...@redhat.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 2010 4:49 PM To: mozilla's crypto code discussion list Cc: rbellamy Subject: Re: NSS Newbie - FIPS Sample On 03/30/2010 03:38 PM, rbellamy wrote: > I apologize if this has already been covered, or if it falls under the > umbrella of "stoopid questions." > > I'm trying to work through the FIPS sample, and am having a difficult > time. > > First of all, the includes call out to "cryptoki.h", which doesn't > seem to exist anymore. > Which samples are you looking at? cryptoki.h is pkcs11.h, but it hasn't had that name in a very long time (which makes me wonder about the age of the samples). bob > Any help would be appreciated. > > -rb > -- dev-tech-crypto mailing list dev-tech-crypto@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-crypto
