Robert, I did what you suggested.
You were right, there is a deeper problem because selfserv doesn't recognize my cipher if I use the option "-c :0200". I'm told an unknown cipher has been requested. But if I use 0084 (which is camellia) it works fine. I used grep to find every occurrences of it and added 0200 in tstclnt, selfserv, sslcov.txt, ssl.sh. Still doesn't work.
My head is starting exploding repeating again and again "why doesn't it work".
I guess the best thing I can do right now is to copy an existing cipher like SEED under a new name and see if I can get it to work between selfserv and the client. Unless you have a better idea...
To reply to Jean-Marc Desperrier, I didn't use wireshark. All my tests were done with Thunderbird sending an email to a postfix server. In the postfix log, I could see the algorithm negociated.
Thanks for your help ! I really appreciate it. Gregory. PS: Sorry Robert, I didn't CC the mailing list. -- dev-tech-crypto mailing list dev-tech-crypto@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-crypto
