What do you mean by "AIA" extension? If some CA certificates are chained
to the EE certificate and included in the PKCS7 file than they are
surely imported inot Firefox (NSS).
If you expect NSS to fetch chained certificates through Internet
download than it is correct that Firefox doesn't do that.
It works with IE 6& 7.
IE fetches missing dependencies (chained certificates) if AIA CAissuer
URI is present.
