To all of my knowledge there are some, mostly some legacy roots or roots 
which have been admitted before the formal policy was established. I 
expect that once the backlog of CA inclusions has been cleared some 
effort can be invested to research this and other aspects of such CAs. 
At least I'd propose that if needed hereby...

However since Spring 2007 no such CAs were knowingly admitted anymore.
