Hello, I want to write a program that generates private keys and client SSL certificates and imports them into the Firefox key/cert database. This program can use the NSS API or call the NSS tools, such as certutil.
Is PKCS#12 the only format that the NSS API and tools can take in order to import private keys into the Firefox key/cert database? As far as I know, the FF database is normally protected with a master password. What operation exactly requires providing this password?
