Unfortunately, it's still not clear (at least, to me) whether this is a
Firefox issue or a JVM issue.  I searched through all the firefox source
code for the string "this applet was signed by" and didn't find it.
That makes me suspect that this is an issue with JVM/JD/JCE/Jmumble.
