You can choose any of the three licenses (MPL, GPL, LGPL) under which NSS and JSS are available. The licenses have different terms, so which one you choose does matter. They are all well-known licenses. Hopefully someone at your university can advise you which license is the most appropriate for you. The issues you need to consider include: - Do you need to link NSS with your own code? If so, is your own code open source? Under what license? - Do you modify NSS or just use NSS unmodified?
