Because we might see all requests in their context maybe...not sure.
Just what somewhat annoys me, is that all this roots issue all types of certificates from DV to EV, sometimes even their intermediate CAs do that...it's not really an issue but makes it somehow unclear, plus if we'd want to limit this or other CAs in some way it makes it difficult if not impossible. Supposed an intermediate CA or CA root is dedicated for EV only, we might have much better control. Just imagine Comodo issues a DV cert with the EV bits on....thoughts, suggestions? Anyway, haven't looked at their requests into some more detail and intend to do that until the weekend. -- Regards Signer: Eddy Nigg, StartCom Ltd. <http://www.startcom.org> Jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Blog: Join the Revolution! <http://blog.startcom.org> Phone: +1.213.341.0390 _______________________________________________ dev-tech-crypto mailing list dev-tech-crypto@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-crypto
