How do you know that it failed? There is no UI shown when it succeeds. Mozilla's cert manager sometimes fails to show certs that are present in the cert DB. Presently the most reliable way to determine if a cert was downloaded or not is to list the cert DB contents with certutil (after exiting the browser).
