What NSS lib version does Firefox 2 use? I could not find any docs on security specific features for Firefox 2. e.g, is ECC , server name indication in Firefox 2?
Firefox 2.0 uses NSS 3.1.3 plus one additional bug fix and six new root CA certificates. The NSS versions in the various Mozilla clients are listed in http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/mozilla-nss-versions.html (I just added Firefox 2.0 to that page. It's going to take a while for that page to be updated on the website.) Both ECC and server name indication are in Firefox 2. I found that none of these are listed in the Firefox 2 Release Notes, but they are listed in this page http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Security_in_Firefox_2 My web searches also found these blogs: http://boblord.livejournal.com/tag/ecc http://blogs.sun.com/andreas/entry/firefox_2_0_ecc_and http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox2/Requirements#Security Wan-Teh _______________________________________________ dev-tech-crypto mailing list dev-tech-crypto@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-crypto
