This plan sounds good. Please spend some time reading
the guides on http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/MDC:How_to_Help
so that the NSS wiki pages follow the style and conventions
of the MDC wiki. Report your progress regularly here.
Let me know if you need the master sources of the old pages.
I can check them out from CVS for you.

David, when you migrate old pages to the MDC wiki, try to
keep the issue of redirection in mind.
