I tried to build NSS 3_10 from the source but i got stuck right at the start. I could not find client.mk, the file that i am supposed to make. Can you provide me the step-by-step instructions for the build procedure?
(the steps given on the Mozilla NSS page didn't help much!)
Also, i would like to get the 3_10 binaries (with the nsprub from NSPR 4.6) that you have build. That i guess will be helpful.
Nelson,
i had the same doubts as you have expressed. i tried encrypting the file without the password flag (-p). i am getting the same error there as well.
"cmsutil: NSS_Init failed: An I/O error occurred during security authorization."
Does anyone k now what the role of the ~/.netscape file is?
Thanks,
Abhishek

Abishek,
Is there a particular reason why you don't want to compile your own binaries for the 2.6 kernel? The source code tarball for NSS 3.10 is available in the same directory as the binary releases, I think you only need to add the nsprpub directory from the NSPR source code tarball.
I have the compiled binary release of 3.10 (with the nsprub from NSPR 4.6) for the 2.6 kernel, if you want it.
Regards,
Peter
