I'd like to propose that we cancel the weekly meetings and move the discussions to an asynchronous medium (mailing list or GitHub Issues, as appropriate).
As the project has matured and the team has grown, the weekly meeting has become less useful. We can't (and shouldn't!) make decisions there because neither the full team nor collaborators from the Gecko side have an opportunity to comment, and that's been reflected in the fact that we've either cancelled or basically had "status updates" in our last few months of meetings. Our current alternating meeting schedule also has no meeting time that is friendly to China Standard Time, which is a bit inconvenient as we attempt to grow the team. Where a face-to-face meeting is needed, I'd much rather schedule it ad-hoc for a convenient time for the subset of people who need to attend them.
