Thanks for the response! I used brew to install 2.13 but had to manually install 2.68. So I have both installed but it seems to be referencing /usr/local/bin/autoconf for both. Can I explicitly reference both somehow so it knows?

Both are needed. In most linux distros 2.13 is in the autoconf213 or autoconf2.13 package and can be installed at the same time as the normal autoconf package.
