Hi all, It took far longer than I intended, but I finally finished a short write-up, mostly to summarize what I worked on this summer and its implications down the road. It goes into detail about floats, line breaking, parallel layout, and a couple other topics. Hopefully it will be useful for anyone interested in hacking on layout in the near future.
