The vast majority of the tests labeled as "CSS" in dromaeo, if not all of them, are actually tests of DOM/JS library performance (jquery, prototype, etc). They very rarely involve any actual CSS, except as a side-effect of doing things that JS libraries are supposed to do, like showing or hiding elements by setting display:none.
