tl;dr - Make sure your Gecko Profiler Add-on is updated to the latest version (0.30)
*Domain migration:* You may have noticed that perf-html.io has migrated to profiler.firefox.com. Hopefully the transition has been smooth for everyone, but we have a few issues that may have affected the migration. With the domain name change, the permissions needed to be updated for the add-on. If this didn't get accepted then your add-on might point to the old domain. We've had a few people have this issue. The easiest fix is to go to about:addons, and manually update the add-on. *New privacy panel:* In attempt to have leaner data practices, and to open the profiler up to a wider audience, we have implemented new privacy controls. By default, in Nightly no information is removed when publishing profiles, but profiles targeting other releases will have some of the identifying information removed by default.
