Hello everybody, We're officially starting on the e10s-multi project to enable multiple child processes in Firefox. You can find more about the project (including our roadmap) at [1].
Our first milestone is to fix bugs related to multiple content processes (we know, for example, that view source doesn't currently work). The list of bugs can be found by searching bugzilla for the whiteboard marking [e10s-multi:M1] [2]. If you know of a bug that should be considered, please mark its whiteboard with [e10s-multi:?] and we will triage it appropriately. Additionally, if there are components or features that need specific testing with a multiple content-process model, please file bugs and mark them for triage.
